Network Management Practices
Last Updated: August 25, 2026
This page explains how AiR by Lexvor manages its mobile network, what can affect the speed you get, and what we will and will not do to your traffic. It is written to meet the FCC transparency requirements for broadband providers, and it is the page our Broadband Facts labels link to.
1. How our network works
AiR is a mobile virtual network operator. We do not own cell towers. Your service runs on a major nationwide 5G host network, which is why coverage matches what you would expect from a large carrier.
Because we are a reseller, AiR traffic carries a standard priority level on that network. When a particular cell site is busy, traffic at a standard priority can be slowed relative to the host network's own premium traffic until the congestion clears. This is normal for resold service, and it is the honest reason your real-world speed at a crowded time or place can sit below the typical figures shown on our Broadband Facts labels.
2. High-speed allowances
Each plan includes an amount of high-speed 5G data each billing cycle. Your plan's exact allowance is shown on its Broadband Facts label at the point of sale and in your AiR dashboard.
Once you use your high-speed allowance, your service continues for the rest of that billing cycle at a reduced speed rather than stopping, and there is no overage charge. Speeds return to full at the start of your next cycle. Mobile hotspot use draws from the same plan data.
3. What we do not do
- We do not block lawful applications, content, services, or devices.
- We do not throttle or degrade particular lawful applications, sites, or services, and we do not single out any provider's traffic.
- We do not accept payment from anyone to prioritise their traffic over other traffic on our service.
- We do not sell your browsing activity.
4. Reasonable use and prohibited uses
Our plans are sold for normal personal use. Uses that damage the network or the experience of other subscribers can be restricted or the line can be terminated. The full list, which covers commercial reselling, call centres, auto-dialling, and circumventing network policies, is in sections 4 and 5 of our Phone Plan Terms, and those sections govern.
We publish a single set of rules rather than restating them here, so the two pages cannot drift apart over time.
5. Device and technical requirements
Service requires a device that is unlocked and compatible with the host network. Speeds also depend on things outside our control, including your device, its distance from a tower, indoor building materials, weather, and how many people are using that tower at the time.
6. Emergency calling
We do not restrict or deprioritise emergency calls. Important limitations that apply to 911 service are described in our Terms of Service.
7. Questions or complaints
If you believe your line is performing worse than this page describes, tell us and we will investigate the specific line rather than send you a policy quote. Write to customerservice@airbylexvor.com. If a problem turns out to be a fault on our side or the host network's, we say so plainly and track the repair until it is fixed.
This page is updated when our practices change, and the date at the top reflects the last change.
